Starfish Transitional Living is a faith-inspired, purpose-driven organization in Independence, Missouri, providing sober living housing, job support, peer mentorship, and mental health resources for women ages 18–28 in recovery.
Our mission is to help women build a strong foundation for lasting sobriety by addressing the root causes of addiction in a safe, supportive, and faith-filled environment.
Our name comes from The Starfish Story — the reminder that even saving one life makes a difference. We believe every woman’s recovery matters deeply, and that healing begins when hope is shared. Through faith, accountability, and community, we walk alongside each woman as she rebuilds her life with strength and purpose.
